I have always been drawn to Tradional Tarot Cards & wanted to recreate a set of my own. What better place to start than with a card that has strong sentimental value to me.
It looks & sounds sinister but drawing the Death Card from the pile is a good thing. It does represent death, but its not literal. It is a metaphorical meaning, a death of an old cycle & rebirth of a new chapter, adventure, now ventures.
Recreating my own tarot deck, I be using influences from my own life. Cannabis, tattoos & plant medicine will all be common themes throughout.
The new beginning that came the last time I pulled the Death card was my relationship with my partner. He also had had a reading shortly before we met, this card was present so it seemed fitting he be represented in my Tarot Series.
